All of the Integrity Sports International hockey programs are high tempo, high energy, and always challenging. In addition to this our training programs are always evolving and adapting with the cutting edge training philosophies and sciences. At Integrity Sports we are always learning and searching for the new concepts and ideas that give the players that train with us the edge over their competition.

We are very passionate about bringing out the best in the players that train with us, both on and off the ice. Using the people and contacts we have made worldwide we are always interjecting new and exciting concepts to our programs that result in the ISI experience being second to none.

At ISI we are constantly keeping up to date with the latest research and training strategies. We know what the leading researchers are saying about the best ways for children and adults to train and working together we will bring out the best in your child.

Integrity Sports International has been an idea, a concept, and a philosophy we have had for many years. We always felt it would be fun and rewarding to work with kids and pass on many of the things we have learned over the years. Then something happened which forced us to take this idea and make it a reality.

I was at the rink one day and a director of a hockey camp from Minnesota asked me how old my son was. I told him 18 months and he said to me,

“Don’t wait too long to get your kid into my programs like a lot of those NHL guys do.”

I started chuckling to myself only to see this guy was serious and that’s when the light went on. If this is how people are speaking to parents that have actually played the game, what are they saying to parents who don’t have any idea what to do, or what’s best for their child?

After that we sat down and started laying out the type of program that we would want our kids to be a part of. The philosophy had been set and from there it was only a matter of time…

At Integrity Sports International we challenge parents to ask targeted questions before spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars on a hockey camp because they “heard it was good.” There’s a lot more that determines a quality hockey camp than the hours spent on the ice and participating in dry land training.

Parents should plan on asking questions like

What are the qualifications of the staff?

What is the cost per hour of ice time?

What does this program provide that other programs don’t?

What kind of training and activities will the players be participating in off the ice?

These may seem like simple questions but it’s important to know whose hands you’re putting your child’s youth sports experience in. This person will not only coach you’re child but also help fill a parental role for him or her even if it’s only for one week.

So at ISI we encourage families to write down what they feel is most important, not only for our hockey camps but for any hockey camps you’re considering. Before you decide on a program you need to know what it is exactly that you and your child want to gain from participating in the program.
